Boilers
Perge
Perge log boilers are unique in that they are high efficiency log boilers, but simply designed and low maintenance. There is just so little to go wrong with a Perge boiler as the stove is so solid and simple. 23% of people in France use wood as their primary heat source, and the country is full of Perge boilers that are still happily running after more than 20 years of hard use.
Perge log boilers do not need electricity to run, there are no moving parts (apart from the thermostatic air control), and yet as a result of the superb design they run at an impressive 83% efficiency. To control the heat output you simply set the desired water temperature you want from your Perge boiler stove. A mechanical thermostat in the boiler changes shape depending on the water temperature and thus moves a small lever. The lever pulls on a chain which opens or closes the air supply to the boiler accordingly, opening the supply up if the temperature drops and vice versa. A very simple solution which is plainly visible so that you can always check that the mechanism is working correctly.
Suitable wood fired boilers or stoves can be directly plumbed in to the heating system in a similar method to solid fuel boilers, or can be used with an accumulator. Some, more sophisticated wood fired boilers are only suitable for use with an accumulator and this depends on the boiler type and manufacturer. The Perge MC Series boilers can be used with or without an accumulator.
We also supply Perge accumulator tanks suitable for biomass, solid fuel and solar applications. These come in a range of sizes from 500 litres up to 5000 litres.
Fabbri
Fabbri space heaters are designed to heat large areas by funnelling clean hot air directly into the surrounding area or through duct pipes to other areas. Simple to use hot air heaters have large combustion chambers which will burn most types of wood. The Euroheat range of Fabbri wood burning workshop heaters have heat outputs from 29 to 410 kW.
The range is suitable for burning all types of dry wood and secondary waste wood.
The fuel chambers are constructed of high grade stainless steel for long life, no fire bricks to change. The fuel is loaded through an upper separate large fuelling door while the ash is removed through a lower access door.
SHT Austria
The TDA Thermodual combination boiler for wood pellets and wood logs provides flexibility in fuel choice. Burning wood logs and pellets with only one device has not been effective until now. The TDA Thermodual with automatic continuous operation for both fuels makes this possible.
The pellets are ignited using an electric ceramic heating element. Air is heated by being blown over the element and onto the pellets in the combustion chamber which ignite within a couple of minutes. The pellet ignites the logs. When the logs have burnt down completely, the device reverts back to pellet combustion automatically.
